Important Travel Item

For those of you who have never flown long distances before, your feet are going to swell significantly. The first time I travelled to Europe, (9 hour flight), I couldn't get my shoes on when we landed. I freaked out because my feet have never swollen before, and tried my best to stuff my fat feet inside my shoes. It was rough! It took a day or two for them to return to normal. My friend in Europe said that next time I travel I should wear compression socks to avoid this problem, so when I got home, I searched for them. I have used them everytime I travel long distances and have never had my feet sweel again, thank God! I have tried compression stockings and compression socks and I think the socks are a lot more comfortable. You have to measure your calf to get the right size. Therre is a size chart you can click on to help get the correct fit. Magellan's or Travelsmith are great places to buy these socks.
